The Deadly Hoax is part of season six of Web of Lies and is described as, "When a tech-savvy computer wiz fails to make the grade as a pro video gamer, he becomes obsessed with finding internet infamy. What starts as an online prank spirals into a new, deadly crime called "swatting" that chills the nation." Casey Viner and Tyler Barriss were responsible for placing the fraudulent call, and their intended target was Shane Gaskill. Instead the police swatted the Finch family home where Andrew ended up dead. His niece, Lisa Finch committed suicide in 2019 as she never recovered from seeing him killed.

The Social Media Butterfly Jasmine Nunez and Andres Ceballos

The Social Media Butterfly is part of season six of Web of Lies and is described as, "When a beautiful young woman moves to New York City, a chance encounter leads to romance. But her new boyfriend finds her popularity on social media hard to swallow. A tragic chain of events unfolds in which her unique tattoo plays a critical role." The love story of Jasmine Nunez and Andres Ceballos does not end well as Jasmine is murdered and set on fire in a state park. And Andres  ends up committing suicide when police confronted him about what he had done. He was not able to handle her online popularity and it was a huge part of his motive.

The love story of Tameesha ‘DIYMeesha’ Ridge and  Dameshlo Green ends badly as Tameesha is murdered in her sleep by her boyfriend,  Dameshlo who is now in prison.. According to Wiki, Audrie Taylor Pott (May 27, 1997 – September 12, 2012)[1] was a 15-year-old student at Saratoga High School in Saratoga, California, who died by suicide. She had been sexually assaulted at a party eight days earlier by three 16-year-old boys she knew, and nude pictures of her were posted online with accompanying bullying. Aaron insisted the two had met up for sex when in fact he pretended to be a home buyer to rob her. His wife Crystal was also charged in the crime. Aaron had done time in prison for bank robbery and stolen cars in Louisiana. She leave behind a husband and a son. Aaron was sentenced to life without parole and has many violations of rules. Love You to Death Shawn Ford and Chelsea Schobert

Love You to Death is season four episode six and is described as, "Seventeen-year-old adoptee Chelsea Schobert feels out of place at home, then she finds acceptance with Shawn whom she meets online, but as their relationship develops, the whole family is drawn into a devastating series of events." Chelsea Schobert and her parents are killed by Shawn Ford after the two meet online and Chelsea refuses to be intimate with him. He kills her parents brutally with a sledgehammer and stabs her in the neck with a knife. Chelsea Schobert  survived the attack but her parents did not. Shawn was sentenced to death in Ohio. Tainted Love is Season four episode three and is described as, "Lonely retiree Alex Strategos findscomfort in the arms of a 69-year-old woman whom he met online, then he begins suffering from a wave of unexplained illnesses." Little did Alex know he was associated with black widow,  Melissa Ann Shephard who attempted to kill him via poisoning. She was released from prison in 2009 in Florida and immediately deported back to Canada. The thing that makes ZERO sense to me is that men have the pick of the litter of women in that age bracket as the ration of men to women is very low. Men beware of Melissa, she is quite nefarious.

High on Love Jessica Boudreau and Brandon Wentzell

Chris Jones, her estranged husband, killed her over jealousy of her leaving and losing 200 lbs.  When her body was found, Chris told reporters, "I loved that woman more than anything. There's no way I've put my hands on her or ever put my hands on her," He also insisted she gain the weight back. She had planned to divorce him and take their two young children. Hitman 4 Hire Leslie and Brian Long

Season 3, Hitman 4 Hire is described as, "Leslie and Brian Long live in an affluent suburban of St. Clairsville, Ohio with their two beautiful kids. When Leslie goes online to make business contacts, the family is besieged with mysterious threats, and Bryan is almost killed by an unknown gunman." According to the state, Appellant eventually pled guilty to the charge. As part of the plea, appellant and plaintiff-appellee, the State of Ohio, agreed to at least a minimum sentence of eight years. However, the plea agreement noted that at the sentencing hearing, appellant would be arguing for an eight-year sentence while the state would be arguing for a ten-year sentence.
