The two met on a social media messaging app where he planned to kill her from the beginning. If this doesn't teach you to be careful when meeting people from online in real life, you're likely to be in the news next.

He alleges she made statements that she forgave him, understood and that she loved him. That may speak to her character, but it comes across as an attempt to minimize what he did.
