Web of Lies is a show about murders committed using the internet. In Season 1, episode 1 the story of Mary Kay Beckman is shown. The title of the show is Cyber Psycho, and Discovery ID describes it as, Realtor Mary Kay Beckman visits an online dating site to find the man of her dreams but instead finds an admirer who attacks her and leaves her for dead.

Crime

After meeting on a dating app, Mary Kay is nearly left for dead after meeting and dating Wade Ridley. The take away from this show is people need to use caution when dating through apps. If you must, do not share your last name, address etc. Men too need to be careful since many women work with partners to commit robberies.
