Web of Lies is a show about murders committed using the internet. In Season 1, episode 2 the story of Kacie Woody is shown. The title of the show is Age, Sex, Location and Discovery ID describes it as, Tragedy ensues when 13-year-old Kacie Woody strikes up an online friendship with someone she believes to be a teenage surfer from California

Crime

David Fuller pretended to be a Californian teen in order to lure Kacie from her home for nefarious reasons. He kept her chained in a van in a storage unit for days until he killed her. When approached by police, David shot himself in the head.

Kacie's parents went on to start a foundation to protect children from online predators.

Matthew Puccio Web of Lies is a show about murders committed using the internet. In Season 2 , episode 4 the story of Jessica Rae Sacco is shown. The title of the show is Crowded House and Discovery ID describes it as, The fan of an edgy hip-hop duo, Jessica Rae Sacco becomes the victim of a grisly murder after seeking out other devotees who call themselves "Juggalos." Crime Jessica was killed by five individuals. Namely, Matthew Puccio, Andrew Forney, his wife, Kandis Forney,  and a third couple. Matthew killed her and then the others either helped or were aware of what had happened. A clear motive has not been given but it is suspected she had asked him to move out of her house. He alleges she made statements that she forgave him, understood and that she loved him. That may speak to her character, but it comes across as an attempt to minimize what he did. The Deadly Hoax is part of season six of Web of Lies and is described as, "When a tech-savvy computer wiz fails to make the grade as a pro video gamer, he becomes obsessed with finding internet infamy. What starts as an online prank spirals into a new, deadly crime called "swatting" that chills the nation." Casey Viner and Tyler Barriss were responsible for placing the fraudulent call, and their intended target was Shane Gaskill. Instead the police swatted the Finch family home where Andrew ended up dead. His niece, Lisa Finch committed suicide in 2019 as she never recovered from seeing him killed.
